Recycled waste plastic feedstock is generally mixed with impurities, sediment and debris, and its cleanliness varies considerably. Feeding such material directly into the furnace for pyrolysis can easily affect the reaction progress and increase carbon deposits in the furnace as well as impurities in the oil. A complete front-end pretreatment system can standardize the condition of the raw material, lay a solid foundation for stable pyrolysis production, and reduce the processing pressure of subsequent processes. Henan Yongle Group has integrated and optimized the front-end pretreatment system of its plastic refining equipment to adapt to the mixed recycled plastic feedstock available on the market. Through multiple pretreatment procedures, the material is standardized to suit stable production conditions.

The pretreatment unit of the plastic refining equipment integrates multiple basic functions, including sorting, crushing, impurity removal and drying, enabling systematic treatment of mixed waste plastics. It effectively screens out non-plastic components such as sediment, metal and debris mixed in the material, avoiding production risks caused by impurities entering the furnace.
After crushing, the material particles are uniform in size and thickness. Once fed into the furnace, the heating area is balanced, and the pyrolysis reaction speed tends to be synchronized, avoiding incomplete cracking of large pieces or excessive carbonization of small pieces, resulting in a more uniform overall conversion effect.

For damp raw materials, the pretreatment system can perform moderate dewatering to regulate the moisture content, preventing high-humidity feedstock from causing furnace pressure fluctuations or the mixing of oil, gas and water vapor after entering the furnace, thus stabilizing the pyrolysis reaction environment inside the furnace.
Clean and standardized material can effectively reduce the accumulation of carbon deposits and dirt in the furnace body, pipelines and condensation system, extend the equipment cleaning cycle, reduce maintenance frequency and downtime, and ensure the continuous operation capacity of the production line.

The integrated front-end pretreatment system simplifies the raw material handling process in the plant. Material standardization can be completed without stacking multiple machines, saving site space and equipment investment and providing complete supporting support for the standardized production of waste plastic resource recovery projects.
